Spain, where the plane will be assembled is deeply involved with the success of the project. Its deputy defense minister Mendez has said that other A400M purchasing defense ministers will meet March 5th to discuss technical details and on their financial offer to EADS/Airbus.
Mendez pointed out that participant countries must resolve questions surrounding the structure of 1.5 billion Euro in credit guarantees – along with 2 billion Euro for new financing.
