Most actors who have had to spend time filming in Berlin end up falling in love with the place – and many have choosen to live in the German capital as well.

Latest smitten seems to be Oscar winning, 55-year-old American actor Kevin Costner, who is according to the German tabloid press – known for its factual inaccuracy and sensationalism – in the process of buying a villa in Berlin.

Part of his ‘German connection” could be his spouse -in September 2004, Costner married his girlfriend of 4 years German model and designer Christine Baumgartner.

Costner seems to like Europe and is a fan of ‘Arsenal’ Soccer Club after he saw one of their games while in London and has followed the team ever since.

To round off this rather positive picture of this popular actor – he campaigned actively for Barack Obama.
