The Dutch PM Mark Rutte, leader of the Liberal VVD Party has indicated that because of failed budget negotiations earlier today that early elections are very likely. The Dutch Liberals are a sister party of the German FDP.
Reason for this sudden collapse of the cabinet is the populist right-wing hatemonger Geert Wilders. He had black-mailed his former coalition partners in the past to get what he wanted and he had threatened to bring down the whole house of cards – and it seems that now he has done just that , namely brought down his unholy opportunist alliance with the VVD liberals and CDA conservatives.
After seven weeks of almost daily meetings to discuss a new austerity budget the talks ostensibly broke down on the issue of saving 16 billion Euro. At the present time the Netherlands is one of the four remaining triple-A-rated countries in the Euro-zone - but this may soon change using the excuse of political instability.
The Dutch public will be relieved that they no longer have to listen to and watch the nauseous scenes of a meek and obsequious Mark Rutte with his arms around Wilders in a show of oily friendship – which everyone knows to be completely false and staged.
This was a lame and supine coalition government led by cowardly weaklings – namely Rutte and the extremely odious CDA member Maxime Verhagen. They thought they could control the wily Wilders but in the end they were shown to be complete bungling amateurs who Wilders could and did manipulate at will.
The ‘albino-ostrich-like’ Wilders has been referred to as the ‘Dutch Goebbels’ for his fear-mongering and hate-mongering - especially to those of the Islam faith but also to Eastern European workers in the Netherlands. His idea is find easy scape-goats to blame the problems in Netherlands on and also divide them - appealling to the lowest and most base of human emotions – fear.
Some years ago the court of Amsterdam, clearly motivated and pressured by the Dutch government to do so – acquitted Wilders on charges of inciting hatred and discrimination. Thus showing that the present Dutch state has little in common with the famous Dutch lawmaker Erasmus, who would probably be turning in his grave if he could see what the present bunch in power are doing with the Dutch state.
The rascist Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman really likes him and invited Wilders to Israel personally because he is one of the most vocal supporters of the present Netanyahu Israeli regime in Europe. Anders Breivik, the Norwegian mass-killer greatly admires him also – a great model he called him.
Wilder’s PVV party has suffered a clear setback with recent departures of disgruntled MPs from his right-wing grouping - and with it so has the government of Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
The leader of the Socialist Party, Emile Roemer, would according to recent polls, be the big winner if elections were held today. The SP is similar to the LINKE Partei in Germany and was recently showing as the most popular party in the Netherlands.
The Social Democratic Party, the PvdA recently elected a new leader Diederik Samsom who has indicated that he would support an interim government and the present budget proposals until elections would be held after the summer.
The so-called ‘Green- Left’ – supporters of sending Dutch troops to Afghanistan – also wants new elections and called the failed budget talks “good news for the Netherlands”.

I used to get all excited about the Dutch government collapsing and new elections coming but after collapsing at least 6 times in the last 12 years or so, its just not all that exciting anymore for me I’m afraid.
Pus every time a new election is held, the elected government mix seems to just get weirder and more and more conservative.
This guy Wilders is a loser!
