Berlin  30-03-2010
Berliner cyclists are expected to have a functioning bell on their bikes and ‘fixies’ or fixed-wheel bikes are strictly forbidden [who would want to drive one anyways!].

In western Canada, in Vancouver one must wear a helmet; in Sweden only children must wear helmets. But anyone still choosing to ride without a bell or reflectors in Berlin might want to consider getting [...] Continue Reading…

Berlin  29-03-2010

Friday, March 26th, 2010

Berlin   26-03-2010

Dutch star Arjen Robben scored late but scored beautifully in the 112th minute of OT yesterday – a victory at Schalke to put Bayern Munchen, the Bundesliga leaders, into the final of the DFB-Pokal/German Cup.

Bayern Munchen will play Werder-Bremen in the final, which   beat 2nd division Augsburg 2-0 on Tuesday.

Robben’s goal came in an otherwise boring game – he took [...] Continue Reading…
