 A new black building at Rosa Luxemborg – coined by this blog as the  “Black-Maze Building Berlin” but officially called just “L-40” has just been taken out of its scaffolding.
The result is a stunning black-mat  convoluted concrete structure which fits snugly onto a very small lot in the heart of the new progressive cultural centre of Berlin -Mitte/Prenzlauer Berg .

This over 100 year old building is being completely renovated inside, but care is taken to keep as much as possilbe to the original aesthetics inside the building - when this is practical and possible - as in the two separate intrances – the vestibule into the building.
