Typically when you think of a club in Berlin, an image of a mother duck nestling her ducklings along is NOT what flashes through your head. Club der Visionäre is one of the most peaceful, laid back spots in Berlin despite being one of the ‘In Clubs’ of the moment.

The picture above shows the 17 meter-high steel monument by night – illuminated by internal neon lights along its wavy silhouette on the corner of the Wilhelmstraße and the ‘An der Kolonnade’ in Berlin-Mitte. It stands proudly, defiantly and fittingly right in front of the old Hitlerite ‘Neue Reichskanzlei’.
The official inauguration of this timely monument took place 2 weeks ago on [...] Continue Reading…

Both technically and musically they will play the very demanding Liszt programs – so it promises to be two truely notworthy musical celebrations.
This coming Wednesday, the 23rd at 2030hrs a Japanese pianist Emi Munakata will give her [...] Continue Reading…

“O was ist das schon’, the German audience sang in Hamburg last night and rightfully so. They saw an energetic, creative, alert and motivated team beat a lethargic, sleepy and leaderless Dutch team that seemed to just make the motions – as if they were there simply for some commercial contractual obligation and nothing more.
Now at the close of 2011, the year [...] Continue Reading…
