The British low cost carrier BMI will launch a new 4 X daily service between London HEATHROW and Berlin TEGEL beginning 28th March – return fares to start from 110 Euro.
The 4 daily flights to the German capital will be operated using an Airbus A319, and will offer both economy and business class service- it is the 2nd new summer route announced by BMI – the being Vienna.
Opening this route to Berlin will more easily tie BMI into the route network of its parent company ‘Lufthansa’ and its affiliate ‘Austrian Airlines’.
The airline has indicated that the new route to Berlin will offer its customers access to one of Europe’s most exciting cities – a major centre of culture, politics, media and science in Europe.
As the new capital of re-united Germany, Berlin’s architecture is relatively modern – wartime bombing brought devastation to large parts of the city which meant replacing many buildings
