Coen Brothers film ‘True Grit’ to open ‘Berlinale’ International Film Festival

Former ‘Golden Bear’ prize Winner Berlin Film Festival, Popular French film-maker Claude Chabrol dies in Paris

The veteran French film-maker Claude Chabrol, a master director famed for his dark portrayals of French provincial bourgeois life, died yesterday at age 80.
