Die Piratenpartei ist eine junge Partei mit dem Ziel Politik positiv zu verändern.
Die erste Piratenpartei gab es in Schweden seit 2006. Der Name kommt über die Anti-Urheberrechts-Organisation Piratbyran die kurz vorher das BitTorrent Programm “The Pirate Bay” gegründet hatte.
