Today, now that the Easter holidays are over, Berlin S-Bahn passengers who transverse the S41 and S42 Ring at Ostkreuz, will have a completely new view of the station.

As of 0400hrs this morning April 16th the busy station will show her new face – namely her new main hall as in the foto above.

Hertha needs to start filling its stadium – the Olympic Stadium of Berlin however it seems to doing everything possible to hinder that happening.  It is one of the largest football stadiums in Germany where the World Cup final was held in 2006 and can seat up to 75,000 football fans.
