The Airbus A400M transport plane has finally achieved an ‘all-systems-go’ status after an official signing ceremony confirming first deliveries for 2012.

Air Berlin disclosed today that it managed to increase its 2010 cumulative passenger boardings, carrying circa 34 million airline passengers – an increase of almost 4% over 2009 -so a good year for Germany’s 2nd largest aviation company after state controlled Lufthansa.

Germany’s sophisticated, well thought-out infrastructure – its complex road and traffic system were thrown into a complete state of flux yesterday by the heavy snow accompanied by wind which was brought by blizzard ‘Petra’.
