German Foreign Minister Westerwelle has gone on the diplomatic offensive and debunked US media caricature of Europe and Germany as short-sighted and untrue. Last Friday he defended the EU’s and Germany’s response to the Euro-zone debt crisis management on a visit in the US and exposed the falseness of the caricature of Europe that prevails in US politics.

The Bundesliga Season opened after its winter pause with a loss for league leaders Bayern and 11th place Hertha Berlin, and a win for Schalke today over Stutgart 3-1.
Hertha Berlin ran into an inspired Nuremberg – who in their 1000th Bundesliga match – won at home 2-0 against a seemingly lackluster Hertha Berlin. This was not the start that new Hertha coach Michael Skibbe had [...] Continue Reading…

It will also present a perfect opportunity for local [...] Continue Reading…

As a first live concert I have attended this year – this was a perfect choice and it is repeated this evening and tomorrow afternoon.
