‘ILA – Berlin’ is one of the world’s major air shows, not as large as Farnborough or Paris but equal in regional importance to other shows like Dubai and Singapore. It is certainly the oldest – the original Berlin air show was in 1909 and a special anniversary was held in 2009 to celebrate the 100th anniversary.
