‘Canada Day’ – ‘Fête du Canada’ is July 1st, Canada’s national day, a federal statutory holiday celebrating the anniversary of the July 1, 1867, enactment of the British North America Act – otherwise known as the ‘ Constitution Act, 1867′, -which united the two British colonies and a province of the British Empire into one single country called ‘Canada’.
