Poland officially welcomed the response of German politicians for rebuffing the right-wing CDU parliament member- the odious and recalcitrant revanchist Erika Steinbach -who said that Poland along with Nazi Germany were ‘jointly’ to blame for starting the 2nd World War.

Erika Steinbach, the right-wing leader of ‘the expelled’ -or Germans driven from Eastern Europe after 1945 – has agreed with the Merkel government not to seek nomination to the board organising the planned ‘Expulsion Museum’ in Berlin.
What looked to becoming a major dispute with neighbour Poland, over a future Berlin museum seems to have been avoided – for the time being.
