In the Bundesliga in this calendar year 2012, with half-season achieved Bayern Munich is number one -  the best of all – and surprisingly with Bayer Leverkusen in an excellent second place 9 points behind the leaders. Just after in third is Borussia Dortmund with one point less.

The Bundesliga Season opened after its winter pause with  a loss for league leaders Bayern and 11th place Hertha Berlin, and a win for Schalke today over Stutgart 3-1.
